Western Australia: Your favourite movie car
Author: kylehubbard1959
We had a great time on the Dawn Patrol this morning, talking about the best movie cars of all time. Some great suggestions came in: Steve McQueen's car from Bullit; the De Lorean from Back to the Future; the Ferrari from Ferris Buellers Day Off, even Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
The reason we were talking about movie cars is that we had an example of one person who took his obsession to the limit. Have a listen to Mad Max tragic Adrian Bennett here:

Author: kylehubbard1959
I already know how to bake pumpkin seeds but i’m curious to if there are things people do to theirs to give them a different flavor? like do some people bake them with something sweeter or glazed etc…
I have two recipes, one savory and one sweet:
The first one is the savory recipe:
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients:
2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic power
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
Combine the melted butter, salt, garlic power, red pepper and
pumpkin seeds. Mix thoroughly and place in shallow baking dish or
lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Below is the sweet recipe:
Roasted Sweet Pumpkin Seeds
2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
6 tablespoons white sugar, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F . Spread pumpkin
seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 1 hour,
stirring occasionally.
In a large bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons of white sugar, salt,
and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside. Heat the oil in a large skillet
over medium-high heat. Add the pumpkin seeds and sprinkle the
remaining sugar over them. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar
is melted, about 45 seconds. Pour seeds into the bowl with the spiced
sugar and stir until coated. Allow to cool before serving. Store in
an airtight container at room temperature.
Enjoy!!!

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE basketball i love to play it everyday. doesn’t matter what time or what the weather is like i will play basketball. I live in GA and im 4′9 in the 7th grade. i am a pretty good basketball player too. Most people just under estimate me because im small. I play in a rec league and i want to try out for my middle school team and jr high school team. I hit a GAME WINNING 3 pointer in my rec league and whenever i play basketball in my gym class people start to notice how good i am. I drain a lot of my shots and steal the ball too. Dwyane wade is my favorite player but GIBERT ARENAS inspires me with the stories he has of him when he played basketball. MY DREAM IS TOO PLAY IN THE NBA i know its every kids dreaM but im ready to work my butt off everyday and everynight..You think there is any chance of me going to the NBA or is it way too early to tell?

@ NB: Enemity is the occupation of fools. (Ali Ra)
@ asker: i respect the purpose of the concert..but the thing is that the prob is in the musical instruments.. using haram to make halal isnt right. nways we are only allowed to use tambour.

UFC 104 Predictions!!!!!!!Lyoto vs Shogun ,Who wins?
Author: kylehubbard1959
Predictions for the top 2 (in my humble opinion) fights of the card
Cain Velasquez (my boy ) vs Ben Rothwell?
Lyoto vs Shogun Rua?Can it be fight of the year you think?I can’t wait until Saturday!
Velasquez will use his wrestling skills to utterly dominate Rothwell. I suppose Rothwell has a slight puncher’s chance, after all, he does have some decent power, but if the much superior striker Cheick Kongo couldn’t knock Velasquez out, then I definitely don’t think Rothwell will be able to either. My only concern for Velasquez is whether or not he will be able to finish Rothwell. Velasquez was unable to finish Kongo, even though Kongo had given him plenty of chances to do so. However, I’m sure Velasquez – who was very disappointed with his own performance against Kongo – will have been much more focused with his training since then, therefore, I expect him to be a much more complete fighter when he faces off against Rothwell, and that is why I’m predicting Velasquez will ground and pound his way to victory.
As for the Machida vs Shogun fight, I think Shogun is going to get knocked out, spectacularly. I just don’t see Shogun’s recklessly aggressive style posing that much of a threat against Machida’s elusiveness and pinpoint accurate counter attacks.
Another fight on this card I’m really looking forward to is the Hardonk vs Barry fight. Two former K1 fighters and ex-training partners will square off against each other, both feeling as though they have something to prove to their former mentor Ernesto Hoost. I think Barry will win this one because of his burning desire to prove that Hoost was always wrong in not believing in him and saying he would never make it as an elite fighter.

I don’t know about Velasquez and Rothwell but as far as Lyoto and Shogun.
No questions asked Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida.
jwpoopin | Oct 21, 2009
Yeah I definetly give Velasquez the edge in that one, but Rothwell is a big boy might give him a little trouble.
As for the Title-Fight if Shogun can disrupt Machida early he has a chance, but if he comes out pulling the same lame crap Rashad did trying to feel Machida out he’s going to be sorry.
In the end I’m seeing either a 1st or 2nd round KO from Lyoto Machida and he will win each round.

machida(but i want shogun 2 win and he has a better chance then most think
rothwell
stevenson
tibau
and anthony johnson
Andrew | Oct 21, 2009
I think Rothwell is going to beat Velasquez he has more experience and i think he has better skills, I like Velasquez but i wasn’t impressed by his performance over Kongo, he definitely dominated once it went to the ground but Kongo has no ground game, he had chances to finish and didn’t. Could go either way but i’m taking Rothwell.
Machida is going to wreck Shogun, he’s better all around.
jarrodanderson1229 | Oct 21, 2009
Shogun doesn’t have a chance Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida is the Ultimate Fighter. He hasn’t lost 1 round in a fight yet and I don’t expect him to lose a round anytime soon, especially against Shogun.
